The mansion at the corner of Amerikis and 25th Martiou Street in the city of Rhodes. This building goes beyond a simple structure; it's a true marvel, filled with elegance and rich beauty. Its appearance is complemented by the ornate Liberté railings, and it carries a century-long history. In 1988, the mansion was declared a preserved landmark by the Ministry of Culture, and to this day, it remains an iconic symbol of Rhodes.

Initially, it was the residence of a wealthy Rhodian merchant, Bensson Menashe, who was in love and married to the daughter of another prominent Rhodian banker, Solomon Alhadeff, owner of the Solomon Alhadeff Fils bank based in the Old Town of Rhodes. Driven by his love, Menashe decided to build a mansion of distinguished elegance and sophistication. His father-in-law asked him to build it "without a budget", as he wanted his daughter to live in a palace. Thus, a mansion of exceptional architectural beauty was constructed, approximately 800 square meters, with two floors and a hammam in the basement. The construction of the mansion was completed in 1925.

Fate, however, had other plans. During the war, the Menashe family escaped through Turkey to Latin America and settled in Brazil. When the war ended, Bensson Menashe and his wife returned to Rhodes and lived in the mansion for a few years until 1954, when they decided to sell it and go back to Brazil, mainly due to family obligations.

The mansion was purchased by Nikolaos Chiotis, hailing from an old Rhodian family, who had studied chemistry in Toulouse and settled in Addis Ababa, Abyssinia, where he amassed a great fortune as a pharmacist. Acquiring the mansion was a lifelong dream for him from the beginning of its construction in 1925. The amount he paid for the mansion was enormous for the time, but he was determined to make his dream a reality. Coming to Rhodes in 1953, he married Victoria Chioti-Georgiadi, with whom they lived a beautiful, social life in a time of prosperity filled with receptions and joyful moments. Their family lived in the mansion until 2022.

Today, the fully renovated Victoria Mansion opens its doors, offering someone the opportunity to experience the aristocracy of that era. The rooms are available for special events such as exhibitions, receptions, professional presentations, and more. Additionally, accommodation for up to 8 people is available, providing every guest with the chance to feel the magic and history that this unique place exudes.
